The spiritual light of The Magic Flute, the silky illuminations of Olivier Messiaen, the shimmering enchantments of the Ravelian orchestra, and last but not least the blue notes found in jazz that run through La Création du Monde by Milhaud or Gershwin's emblematic masterpiece… One can hardly imagine a more vibrant triumph of colour than this programme inspired by the art of Marc Chagall. All the more so as the concert will be graced by the presence of Roger Muraro, one of the major figures of French piano, with a Rhapsody in Blue that promises to be equally dazzling.
